This journal, like its counterpart on bereavement, is a hardcover, spiral bound and beautifully presented journal for Muslim parents who have experienced miscarriages and stillbirth. It has also been funded by Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital Charity. This journal is also described as a compassionate friend offering a safe space to free its user to be themselves in pouring out their feelings and thoughts without being hurried or judged. Once they are ready, it is comforting to read that users are then invited to first name their journal as naming it is expected to bring a deeper appreciation of the things that they hope to gain. In other words, the process appears to be similar to that of A Guided Journal for the Bereaved Muslim Parent.
