Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace be upon him) has been described as a Mercy unto mankind in the Qur’an. His life and legacy are exemplary, and each believing Muslim longs to emulate him in his behaviour, speech and character. He is still the most influential personality in the lives of Muslims. Scores of books in different languages have been written about different facets of his life. The deep reverence of Muslims for their Prophet, who has the distinction of being the seal of Prophets, has ruffled many enemies of Islam.

Since the day he announced that he was chosen as God’s Prophet, Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace be upon him) gained many enemies. His Message of justice and equality threatened the powerful elites who maintained their grip on the masses by exploiting them religiously and economically. These enemies made numerous attempts to annihilate the message of Islam, by spreading false rumours, allegations and fake propaganda against the Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him). As God was with him and he was being guided by a divinely ordained revelation, he emerged triumphant against all odds. Even when his enemies witnessed that he survived against all odds and their nefarious plans had failed, they continued their false propaganda against him.
